new goodies for you :: Pembrokeshire Product Photography

This week is a bit like christmas – there are cool new goodies arriving here everyday and I have lots of things to unpack and unwrap. 001 wub new goodies for you :: Pembrokeshire Product Photography  New business cards and postcards, two new sample albums all the way from the USA and my very first gallery wrapped canvas print. But have a look – I took some pictures for you today!

And the two new albums – they are called "ELEMENTS" and are very sleek and simple – just to bring the focus on your beautiful images. I love them already and the quality is outstanding.

As you can see there are lots of different cover options available. You can have cut-outs in the front too and these gems come in a variety of sizes with different amounts of pages.

The two albums I have here for now are: the red leather one is a 10×7 inch with 30 pages and the blue silk one is a 7×5 inch album with 20 pages – both in a landscape format. I will update you when I have mounted some lovely prints into them.

The best thing about the stunning albums is – in my opinion – that you can use them for lots of different photographs. If you go for a 12×12" or 11×14" you have a lovely size for a wedding album and with a page count of up to 40 you are guaranteed that ALL of your wedding images will look stunning in one of these.  Of course you can go for a smaller size and less pages and I will set up a lovely session book with the most beautiful portraits for you to take home. Even better still is the price – it’s more on the smaller side (even though it comes all the way across the ocean). The only hard bit about getting a stunning ELEMENTS album is the choice – which is totally up to you biggrin new goodies for you :: Pembrokeshire Product Photography Let me know if you want to know more about them or if you would like to see them *life*.

Delyth and John :: Connection Session :: Pembrokeshire Engagement Photographer

I did tell you I am busy this year, didn’t I? Well but I really do enjoy what I do, especially when I am with such lovely people like last saturday.

Delyth and John came down to Pembrokeshire one last time before their wedding in two weeks and we spend the afternoon together to plan for the photos we will do on their special day and also spend a relaxing afternoon walking along the coastal path with their little dog Willow. Apart from John’s little accident – hope your knee is all better by now, John – I really did enjoy the company and the lovely weather we had.

Both Delyth and John grew up in St. David’s and even though they live in Sheffield now – they will be gettting married back here in the lovely cathederal of St. David’s. I am really looking forward to capture their big day and can’t wait. Here is a sneak peek for you Delyth and John from our afternoon.

Where have I been?

… you could call it a creative break, a finding-myself-mission, life-took-over embaressed smile Where have I been?  I know I am not the most regular blogger on the net and I am very sorry that I haven’t kept you updated.

I have some exiting things to tell you, well at least I am very exited about it because I thought I could never do it – that is give up the smokes. It’s been over three weeks now and I am stunned that I have made it that far. So part of my absence was due to the fact that I was busy giving up. I found it very hard to sit on my PC doing photography work while it was all so fresh. It is gettng easier now and I am officially a non-smoker now w00t Where have I been?

I am officially an addict to ice cream now too blush Where have I been?  I just needed to compensate and discovered some cool ice cream called Ben & Jerry’s. The names of the different flavours are hilarious – you get Cherry Garcia, Baked Alaska, Chunky Monkey or Caramel Chew Chew and there is plenty more which I haven’t tried out yet. It’s really nice though and you should try it too if you not have so already.

Of course I have been working on the photography front too. During the past weeks I was busy with a very special project, something very new for me but very exiting at the same time. Unfortunatly I cant show any images here – they are boudoir style images and very private. My client Esther is a very good looking and nice young lady and it was great fun working on the different themed images for this very special project. Some of my favourite images are of her little dog – Topsy.

You know I really love dogs and of course my own dogs exspecially. I am still heartbroken that we have lost one of our special pet prairie dogs last Friday. Piocasso was one of our rescue PD’s and was with us for nearly 7 years. He is now burried next to Pirelli, another rescue PD we lost last year. Take care little man!!!

One visit at the vets was not enough for the past week, we were back in the emergency vets with Ellie that Friday night after she developed a severe allergic reaction to a booster vaccination she had earlier that day. OMG this was very scary as I could basicly watch the bumps appearing all over her body. When her mouth started to swell up I called the vets and 10 minutes later we were there and Ellie got a shot of steriods before her airways started to close up. And you think a standeart routine vaccination would be safe 036 Where have I been?

Enough with bad news, I am very exited to let you know that I have treated myself to some new goodies. I cant wait until it all arrives and I can have a play with it. When it does I will let you know what I got and what you can do with it lol Where have I been? I am exited!

Dog Days

dog days

*sigh* surely he is wishing for some nice dry autum days before winter sets in and to be honest – so do I. Again this summer wasn’t really summer, we had more rain than anything else and my summer wardrobe is still burried deep in the back of my wardrobe. Outdoor sessions this year have been resheduled and re-resheduled due to this horrible weather. This is not fun at all.

When I went down town the other day they started putting christmas stock out already – are they mad? Oh how I hate this time of the year, I am ready to pack my bags and fly of to a super sunny holiday. This is not fair! 012 Dog Days

Happy Birthday Max!

Can you believe it? It’s Max’s first birthday today – where has the year gone?

Our little super man is a year old today already and not a puppy anymore. He started recently to take the house over and has put Ellie in her paces already.

If you are ever in need of a guard dog – get a dachshund! Max hears everything and tells you too. He thinks of himself as a St. Bernhard and acts like it. There is nothing he fears and he goes and has to discover everything thouroghly – in short: he is just one cool dog.

But he can be different when he is off duty. He comes and cuddles with me on the settie and he is such a mommies boy.

Have you ever heared of photographers kids syndrome? Well, if Max would be human he definatly wouldn’t be one of them – strangely he loves posing for the camera. When I have clients about for a photoshoot I have to lock him away safely because he makes sure to get a snapshot of my client with him on the photo.
