Ben & Becky contacted me last year and asked if I will do their wedding photographs later in August this year. Before their wedding we have met to discuss their requirements and also for their E-Session. When I set of here in Haverfordwest it was more or less raining and I feared that we might have to put the shooting off. But when I got to Newport the clouds lifted and the sun peeked around the clouds – perfect weather for such a sweet and totally relaxed couple.

I love my clients who are willing to explore and experiment with me, so with Ben & Becky we climbed over fences and "private" gates only to find a really romantic hidden garden. We sneaked into peoples overgrown porches and did a lovely set of images in the little town of Newport. The cherry on top was the visit down at the Parrog – the light and the colour of the sand and water was just lush that afternoon. I can't really decide which shot is my favourite of the day but I think the jumping shot at the beach is hard to top. I really hope we can re-create this on their wedding day. Becky is willing to take the 10 minute trip to the beach in her gown!

I know I know I have been M.I.A. for a long time. Sorry, this year has been incredible busy again so far. The wedding season is in full swing and I am trying to catch up slowly. Make sure to check back here often as I have a few posts coming in the next few weeks.

First of all – Kim & Simon – we met up a few weeks back and did their e-session at  Saundersfoot waterfront in the loveliest weather. You know this happy couple from Kim's bump shots and also their sweet baby girl Hazel, which newborn photographs I was invited to take. We had a great afternoon again and you will be able to see their wedding photographs here soon too.

I bet you thought the last post was the last of the beach sessions for this year – not quiet! I still had this cute little family up my sleeve, hiding on my harddrive and waiting patiently to get edited. You all know Brianna by now, I am taking her photos since she was 6 weeks old and now, finally, I was allowed to take some photos of her mum and dad too. A little bit of engagement session (pssst Sarah and Jason are getting married in September next year – guess who is invited for the wedding photos?), a bit of Lifestyle and family photography too.

What a suset we had! The dramatic sky called for some dramatic processing on the photos and it was just ideal for taking some silhouette shots. The light just after sunset was so awsome and the portraits we did on the pebbels had the best light of the evening – I loved it and I think I broke a record too – the shortest session I ever had so far – wow.

I did tell you I am busy this year, didn’t I? Well but I really do enjoy what I do, especially when I am with such lovely people like last saturday.

Delyth and John came down to Pembrokeshire one last time before their wedding in two weeks and we spend the afternoon together to plan for the photos we will do on their special day and also spend a relaxing afternoon walking along the coastal path with their little dog Willow. Apart from John’s little accident – hope your knee is all better by now, John – I really did enjoy the company and the lovely weather we had.

Both Delyth and John grew up in St. David’s and even though they live in Sheffield now – they will be gettting married back here in the lovely cathederal of St. David’s. I am really looking forward to capture their big day and can’t wait. Here is a sneak peek for you Delyth and John from our afternoon.
