A little peak

… from todays session

I got called out to meet Tara today. Tara is a Cockerdoodle, a mix between a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle and soooo sweet. She was a real darling for me, so patient and I never had to chase after her to get some pics. In the beginning she was a bit shy but in the end, she had all my treats I brought for her for beeing such a good girl. Tara’s owner told me that she came all the way from Slowakia, were she got adopted from a shelter. She is already 9 years old but she looks like a puppy. I had a really great day with her!

Here are a few for you Martin   dft012 A little peak

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ELLIE !!!

Our little puppy Ellie is already a year old *sigh* where has the time gone?

I remember the day we brought you home and you slept in a little transportbox in front of my bed. Mika was there and you won his heart in an instand and ours too. We trained you and tried to give you the best start in life a puppy can have – you rewarded us by learning quick and mastered the puppy classes at Jenny with best marks.

We are all proud of you and happpy to have you with us! Happy Birthday little one!

Not what we expected …

… but another great day at the coast.

I said yesterday to watch out for todays posting but it didn’t happen. We had great weather again but we couln’t sail to this little island just of our coast – all boats were already booked out and that 3 hours before the actual time I was given two days ago on the phone. You can’t imagine our disappointment but we will try another time and so we went off along the coast to discover Broadhaven South. Well, just before we left Martins Haven I pulled over by the road and took this shot. It was beautiful first thing in the mornig.

We thought it would be nice to see if we could get to the "Green Bridge of Wales" today. This is a huge arche in the cliffs near by St. Govans Head and I have tried many times to get there but always found the Range Road through the military area closed of. I have seen so many awsome picture of it and would love to see it with my own eyes. Today we had no luck again and carried on along the coast until we found ourselfes at a place called Broadhaven South. We took the coastal path coming from St. Govans Head towards Tenby and had a picnic right on top of a cliff, again with some awsome views and glorious sunshine.

We couln’t get over the seagulls, they came and joined us for the picnic, not afraid at all and Hanna was feeding them with her sandwich. Later on we walked down to the beach, took our shoes and socks of and had a quick dip in the waves. Wow – they were huge today and the sound of them crashing on the beach was great!

A little later we were able to watch something really spooky. I spotted a huge white cloud on the water and it was coming towards the beach pretty quick. I have never seen anything like that and since we had brilliant sunshine, it was even spookier. I tried to capture it but my lens wouldn’t even focus properly.

When I sat in front of the PC trying to resize it for the blog I thought that this one need to be in black and white to bring the spookiyness across. Urgh! Definatly NOT what we expected!

Right, that’s all again for today. Posting here every day is fun and a nice end to a nice day. Unfortunatly I am back in work again next week and probably I wont have the time to post here every day but I will try. There is this terrible bus driving license test I have to get my head around and pass the theory test but it is soooo boring and I rather be out and about taking photos.

Oh Well ….
