Here is a little sneak peak for you
EDIT: I made some slight changes and incorporated a slideshow of my favourite photos of this session. Let me know what you think and if it is loading ok for you.

Pembrokeshire County Show-Dogs
… small and big ones
I am slowly catching up with the Show pictures. Here are my favourite dog pictures. I cant get over the variety of different dogs there, it was just amazing.
Many of you have by now noticed that I show much more photos of dogs – it’s just my alltime favourite thing – I coul’d photograph dogs all day long. No wonder I felt in heaven when doing these and even with strong black shadows and probably the one or other burnt out highlight – I still had fun doing these

more Maximus
… in my new/old wooden boxes
While I have been at the County Show I found some old fruit boxes. I always wanted them but never found any for sale anywhere. You can’t imagine how happy I was finding them and the price made me smile even more! I picked both of them up for a tenner! Of course I had to try them out and yes – Max was just the right size to fit in them

Pembrokeshire County Show
… 500 pics later
The anual Pembrokeshire County Show was held for the past three days in our town, Haverfordwest. Since we haven’t been last year, a visit this year was a must and we went down for a stroll on thursday. Since all sheep, pigs and cattle were banned due to the foot and mouth desease, she show was missing a great part but there was more than enough to look at. When we got home we were totally bushwacked but it was a great day out.
On friday morning I thought I just have to go again and take my camera. I was amazed of how many dogs were around and of course there was the agility competition which is always a great fun to watch. So of I went for some fun doggy pictures.
Later on the day I stopped next to a showring where the youngest riders with their ponies just starting their competition. I was instantly reminded of Thelwell’s comics when I spotted a sweet little girl on her pony and started snapping away. When one of the showring officials came across to me and asked me if I can take some professionel photos I didn’t said no and went in the ring. I couldn’t believe what I was doing there and fired away happily.
