… little Miss B.

Today is the christening of little Miss B.  Since I am away on holidays, I couldn’t be there in person

We just did the photographs last week together with the godparents, outfits and all. I was dying to publish these but nobody was allowed to see them until today. Little Miss B. is such a little beauty!

I made up this card to give as a little something to the godparents.

… all the way back to good old Germany 

Just for 10 days for some family holidays. I haven’t been back to Germany since we moved here 3 years ago and it’s time to check out on my family and what has happened in my hometown.

As you can see, the dogs are already in holiday mood and can’t wait to go. Oh well, Ellie is coming but Max has to stay behind with my parents in law as he is not yet fitted with his micro chip and rabies vacination.

… here it is – summer has gone

I cant believe that my favorite time of the year has gone so quick. Now it’s dark again when I get up in the morning, no more evening strolls at the beach with the dogs, no more sitting out in the garden in the sun, no more blooming flowers, bees and chirping birds all around you. The noise of the lawnmower from the neighborhood and the smell of freshly cut grass – all gone. Gone until next year when it all begins again – oh I cannot wait.

But I cant moan, autum is a wonderful time to capture all those typical fall colors. The brown, red and orange leaves everywhere and the rustle they make when you walk right through them; somehow relaxing. The woods is my favorite place for walks right now, I must confess.

We just had a couple of days with rain and just not very nice weather and today, for a change, brilliant sunshine. This morning when I started work and the sun just gone up at the horizon, the sky looked as it was on fire. The color and glow was just WOW and I wish I had my camera with me and a couple of minutes to stop and take some photos. But hey – I just started work.

Anyway, on the way back from work the sun was still out and I thought to arrange a photoshoot on last minute. Unfortunatly I had to realize that by the time I got home and the time to get ready and meet up, the light would have been gone. So, no more sessions after work either 

So, here comes the old story. I changed my blog to an autum design. What do you think? Warm and bright colors for a change – does it work?

No pics today sorry, but if the weather is nice on saturday, I will have some pics for you again.

EDIT: Early this morning everything was covered in thick fog. I went out straight after work and captured those to go with my posting.
