I met Gemma and Tim and their two beautiful twin baby girls yesterday – and what a lovely visit it was!  Every time when I am trusted to photograph brand new little wonders, I could just sit and watch in awe for hours on end. You could imagine just how amazed I was when I was introduced to Emily and Charlotte yesterday. Oh they are so sweet    Emily was a real trooper yesterday, very sleepy and she let me pose her without any moaning. I think Charlotte was a bit unsettled yesterday but we were able to capture her together with her sister too.

Thank You so much Gemma and Tim for inviting me into your home and trusting me to photograph your geourgeous baby girls. And your poser cats too, lol.

Meet "Poser Cat" too!

What does a photographer do on holidays???? Yeah, taking photographs! Even on holidays I can’t put the camera down – I just go and shoot what gets in front of my lens. I try out a lot of things and sometimes I just practise. This may sound stupid to you but in reality – I love being a photographer!

Right now I wish the weather would be a little bit better and hope for a couple of nice summer days before everyone goes back to school and work. The end of summer holidays always means that autum is nearly here. Soon the leaves will fall and soon it will get colder and we all are ready for xmas shopping. Urgh!    So, with this in mind – if you would still like to book a photo session with me you have to hurry up!

Ok, I wanted to show you some images I took in Kiln Park the other day. There was a sweet little circus doing the evening program there and we went for a bit of entertainment. I thought this was a perfect oportunity to take the camera along and do some high iso images in low light.  Well, when we got there it actually was pitch black dark and apart from the show lights there was nothing much else.

Mayor Councillor Jim Campbell,  mayor of the town of Haverfordwest hosted the ancioent civic tradition of the beating of the bounds last week. The annual festival celebrates the traditions of the old trading port of Haverfordwest with a waterborne procession to inspect the town boundaries and the fishing rights as the Admiral of the port.

This year was the first year since we moved to Haverfordwest that I was not working and I was exited to view this event live. I was very lucky to get invited to go along on one of the boats and enjoyed the views from the boat along the river. When all the boats finally arrived at the ports border, which was marked with a huge whiote stone on the bank – all the boats started to honk their horns to mark the event.

I really have enjoyed the evening and again learned something new but old about my new hometown Haverfordwest.
